Master of Arts in Education for Sustainability / Medium of Instruction: English

Programme Information

Master of Arts in Education for Sustainability [MA(EfS)] was launched by The Education University of Hong Kong under the Department of Science and Environmental Studies. This programme emphasises subject knowledge, innovative pedagogical practices, flexible teaching environments and a critical approach to thinking about educational and sustainability issues. Graduates of various disciplines, in-service teachers, local and international non-governmental organisation (NGO) workers, government officials and private sector consultants are welcome.

科學教育榮譽學士

Programme Information

BEd(Science) aims to prepare qualified, competent, professional secondary science teachers capable of satisfying the educational needs of learners with different abilities within a community that values multiple aspects of intelligence. Graduates will have attained academic excellence and professional competence for effective teaching of science in schools. In particular, they will possess a solid command of science subject knowledge and skills together with a firm and thorough grasp of the interrelationship between theory and practice.

小學教育榮譽學士 - 常識 (人文及科學)

Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Primary) - General Studies (Humanities and Science) promotes your generic skills for life-wide and life-long learning, fosters positive personal and social values and attitudes, and develops your skills through investigation, project learning and service learning. Taught as an interdisciplinary subject, this programme aims to develop generic skills (e.g. problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, study skills, communication, Information Technology, etc.) that are essential for learning in the information era and for making sense of social and environmental issues. You will be acquainted with the spirit and framework of inquiry and will be equipped with the social and scientific inquiry skills that come into play in the teaching and learning of Primary Humanities and Primary Science.

綜合環境管理榮譽理學士

Programme Information

Environmental management is of growing importance in the daily operation of private and public sectors. Throughout the past few decades, new environmental tools and knowledge have emerged to enable policymakers and decision-makers to deal with environmental challenges presented in their planning and operation, including environmental management system, environmental risk assessment, environmental impact assessment, and pollution control technology, etc.

綜合環境管理榮譽理學士及科學教育榮譽學士

Programme Information

就業實習課為學生提供本地和海外的實習機會，從而為學生構成全面的學習體驗，並回應學生全人發展的需要。實習旨在促進學生體會「學以致用」，且在老師的輔導下能提早進入職場實習，將非常有利於及早瞭解自己的職業路徑。透過與本地/海外政府機構、國際非營利組織、社會服務和環境保護組織建立合作網絡，就讀可持續發展教育及科學與網絡科技課程的學生能在澳大利亞，韓國，台灣，中國大陸等地提供許多有償或無償的本地/海外實習機會。實習的工作性質則因應學生課程而異，內容包括文化保護與發展、教育出版、環境研究及教育等。實習課作為學生重要的學習經驗，他們也會對自身的實習歷程進行反思和分析，從而增加自己的競爭力。

海外交流

內地及海外學習體驗資助 (GLEF)

為進一步回應大學國際化的訴求，並促進學生積極參與海外和大中華地區的學習經驗，由大學提供的內地及海外學習體驗資助(前名：環球學習體驗增潤基金)為科學和環境研究學系之全日制本科生提供資助，並鼓勵學生參與國際和地區學習活動。

學習環境

教大科學與環境學系（SES）是一個促進科學研究、環境教育，及常識學科的學術部門。除課堂學習外，學生也致力於參加校外學術組織和教育團體舉辦的活動。
