The Department of Science and Environmental Studies is delighted to share that Prof. Ho Wing Kei has been recognised as one of the 2026 Scilit Top Cited Scholars.

This prestigious distinction acknowledges scholars who have demonstrated significant influence in their respective fields through the publication of highly cited research over the past decade. The 2026 Scilit list recognises 10,367 scholars from 100 countries across six continents.

The ranking evaluates publications from 2016 to 2025 based on Top Cited Papers, defined as the top 1% most-cited papers within the same field and year of publication. The assessment employs a field-normalised and weighted methodology across 289 subject areas, taking into account citation impact, authorship position, and co-authorship, while excluding withdrawn or retracted publications and excessive self-citations.
