The 27th “Common Sense” Primary STEAM Exploration Exhibition, held on 21 October 2024, invited participating teams to investigate climate change, air quality, and soil conditions. This year’s event also highlighted the interconnectedness of environmental systems, aligning with SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 14 (Life Below Water) .
Students explored how extreme weather and pollution affect not only air and soil but also fresh-water ecosystems and marine environments. Through inquiry-based projects, teams examined water management, the impact of pollutants on aquatic ecosystems, and the importance of maintaining ecosystems and their biodiversity. The exhibition encouraged young learners to apply STEAM knowledge to real-world problems, including technologies towards aquatic ecosystem damage prevention and sustainable fisheries. By fostering critical thinking and environmental awareness, the event empowered students to contribute to a more sustainable future.
